The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter is a universal meter with a factory-integrated REDAC radio receiver, making it suitable for virtually any application.

The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter is available in versions for both horizontal and vertical (rising/falling) installation. The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter is a multi-jet dry-running meter made of brass, where only the impeller operates in wet conditions.

Interference from contaminated water cannot affect the encapsulated and rotatable meter. It remains protected from deposits and corrosion. The materials used guarantee a long service life and high measurement accuracy. The magnetic transmission is tamper-proof and meets the latest technical requirements.

The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter comes standard with an EMS-WMRA-1 wireless adapter. All models of the EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter comply with the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID).

The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter adapts to your needs. The factory-installed EMS-WMRA-1 radio adapter allows for the wireless transmission of consumption data to REDAC radio systems without requiring access to the premises.

The EMS-WMRA-1 radio adapter is equipped with unidirectional radio technology. Measurement data is transmitted via the 868 MHz radio frequency with a maximum power of 10 mW in the data format of the proprietary REDAC radio protocol.

Radio emissions are reduced to an absolute minimum, conserving battery capacity.

High scanning reliability and flow direction detection

The inductive scanning of the modulation pointer ensures extremely reliable and synchronous counting on the communication modules. These modules feature flow direction detection. In the event of negative flow (backflow), pulses are only transmitted again once the correct flow direction is established and the last reading has been exceeded.

Uses and Versions:

The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-REDAC-RADIO wireless domestic water meter is available in two versions: a cold water version (MTK) and a hot water version (MTW). Both meter types are used to measure water consumption in residential and commercial properties, but differ in some technical aspects:

  1. Cold Water Version (MTK):

Suitable for measuring cold water, i.e., water with a temperature of up to 30°C.

This version is intended for standard use in households or commercial establishments where only cold water is measured.

  1. Hot Water Version (MTW):

Designed for measuring hot water with temperatures from 30°C to 90°C.

Often used in combination with heating systems or in households where the water is heated (e.g., by gas or electric boilers).
