The EMS-SMARTMESS-JS-CW is a modern mechanical single-jet cold water meter featuring a dry-dial register for the reliable measurement of cold water volume. It was developed for use in single-family homes, multi-family dwellings, and other cold water supply systems.
Thanks to its robust construction, high measurement accuracy, and effective protection against external magnetic fields, the EMS-SMARTMESS-JS-CW ensures reliable and tamper-proof consumption recording. The meter is suitable for both traditional manual reading and integration into modern wired or wireless remote reading systems.
This cold water meter model also serves as the mechanical base platform for the REDAC radio-enabled water meter (type EMS-SMARTMESS-JS-REDAC-RADIO-CW).
As previously mentioned, the meter’s standard integrated optical scanning disc allows it to be electronically upgraded and made communication-ready using a wide range of other EMS communication modules.
The separated measuring system—featuring a wet chamber and a dry register—protects the counting mechanism from moisture and condensation. The rotatable register allows for convenient reading across various installation scenarios.

By equipping the EMS-SMARTMESS-JS-CW cold water meter with a REDAC radio adapter or another available EMS communication adapter, it can be integrated into modern automated consumption data collection systems (such as the EMS-REDAC radio system). This allows on-site manual meter reading to be reduced or entirely eliminated.

on a permanently affixed, non-removable label on the side of the register. The key

and clearly legible even when a communication module is attached.

communication module—complies with all metrological requirements as well as all
