The M-BUS DOMESTIC WATER METER EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS is a
universal domestic water meter with a factory-integrated M-BUS adapter,
making it suitable for virtually any application.
The M-Bus domestic water meter type EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS is available in versions for both horizontal and vertical (rising/falling) installation. The MBus
domestic water meter type EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS is a multi-jet dry-running meter made of brass, in which only the impeller operates in the wet environment.
Interference from contaminated water cannot affect the encapsulated and rotatable meter mechanism. It remains protected from deposits and corrosion. The materials
used guarantee a long service life and high measurement accuracy. The magnetic transmission is tamper-proof and meets the latest technical requirements.
The M-Bus domestic water meter type EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS comes standard with an M-Bus adapter type EMS-WMMBA-1-N.
All models of the M-Bus domestic water meter type EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS comply with the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID).

The M-Bus domestic water meter type EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-M-BUS adapts to your needs. The factory-installed M-Bus adapter type EMS-WMMBA1-N allows the
integration of the EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS meters into wired M-Bus systems. This enables consumption data to be transmitted via wired M-Bus to M-Bus
control units and M-Bus gateways without the need to enter properties, apartments, or business premises for meter reading.
The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS M-Bus domestic water meters are also an ideal solution when it is necessary to transmit consumption data to control systems or
building management systems.
High scanning reliability and flow direction detection
The inductive scanning of the modulation pointer ensures extremely reliable and synchronous metering on the EMS-WMMBA1-N communication modules. These
modules feature flow direction detection. In the event of a negative flow direction (backflow), pulses are only sent again once the correct flow direction is established
and the last reading has been exceeded.
Application and versions:
The EMS-MTK-MTW-MODUMESS-MBUS M-Bus domestic water meter is available in two versions: a cold water version (MTK) and a hot water version (MTW). Both
types of meters are used to measure water consumption in residential and commercial properties, but they differ in some technical aspects:
1. Cold Water Version (MTK):
- Suitable for measuring cold water, i.e., water with a temperature of up to 30°C.
- This version is the standard choice for use in households or commercial establishments where only cold water is measured.
2. Hot Water Version (MTW):
- Designed for measuring hot water temperatures from 30°C to 90°C.
- Often used in combination with heating systems or in households where the water is heated (e.g., by gas or electric boilers).
